We&#8217;ll deep dive into (ex)LawTube, completely free self-paced Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, and well-meant pushes in the creative directions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"1-1-eve-cornwell-on-growth-mindset-when-pivoting-to-legal-tech\"><strong>1.1 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=_lDeJWMYluE\">Eve Cornwell on Growth Mindset when pivoting to legal tech<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I loved the <em>week in my life<\/em> on learning by the ex-Linklater, now technical PM in legal tech. Eve is currently standing before the challenge of adopting new skills and learning to swim in the tech waters. To this account, she did a great job (as always) laying out the mindset as well as the knowledge she needs to nurture. And I am there for this (and her list includes CS50)!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"1-2-open-source-society-university-computer-science-free-resource\"><strong>1.2<\/strong> <strong>Op<a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/ossu\/computer-science\">en Source Society University: Computer Science [FREE RESOURC<\/a>E<a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/ossu\/computer-science\">]<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After I finished <a href=\"https:\/\/cs50.harvard.edu\/x\/2022\/\">CS50<\/a>, I was hunting for a new way to continue my coding journey that would make sense in the bigger picture. The OSSU is a comprehensive curriculum that covers not just programming languages, but also maths, security, game theory, and everything else you may need. All the courses are put together from offerings of world renowned universities, like Stanford or MIT, AND most of them are for free\/little fee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"1-3-creative-acts-for-curious-people\"><strong>1.3 Creative Acts for Curious People<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I got a copy of this <a href=\"https:\/\/dschool.stanford.edu\/book-collections\/creative-acts-for-curious-people\">absolutely brilliant book<\/a> and highly recommend it for anyone who is looking to add a dash of creative sparkle into their daily existence. It contains 81 in-depth prompts to enhance your design thinking and I am there for that!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Favourite picks?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Learning How Your Learn (#18) made me explicitly acknowledge that I learn through systematising knowledge (not necessarily by listening or reading)<\/li><li>Can&#8217;t wait to see What&#8217;s In Your Fridge (#16)!<\/li><li>We had so much fun making a whole lot of Making Morning Coffee (#38) videos &#8211; just one minute to catch it all!<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"final-provisions\"><strong>Final Provisions<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Are you watching a lot of LawTube?<br>Should I attempt to do the whole <a href=\"https:\/\/ocw.mit.edu\/courses\/electrical-engineering-and-computer-science\/6-042j-mathematics-for-computer-science-fall-2010\/\">Math for Computer Science at MIT<\/a>?<br>Did you try out any of the exercises from Creative Acts for Curious People (can I see your coffee videos)?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Attorney@Code<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"read-more-from-attorney-code\"><strong>Read more from Attorney@Code<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here are my favourite finds of February!
