Currently obsessed with: book darts, Futuriuma what design has in common with conspiracy theories.
I am in my third month of doing my own thing. I am consulting on fascinating legal innovation projects (let’s work together), and having way too much fun with this semester’s cohort of Modern Lawyers (I have been teaching this for FOUR years – time flies!).
Here are some of my fav finds from Q1 2026:
Vibecoding my own teaching tools
Latest in my vibecoding experiments: I made a gallery of demos for eight key legal tech patterns to explain the building blocks to my students.
The feedback has been super positive. I love that I can just ideate a teaching tool and have it ready in no time. My use of AI in the classroom got yet another boost.
You can explore the Legal Tech Gallery here.
If you want to see what others are building – vibecode.law is a community inspiration gallery of vibecoded legal projects. In the spirit of being a good neighbour, I also added the gallery there.
Czech Constitutional Court’s Jurisprudence Chatbot
Czech Constitutional Court put a chatbot on their case law search to help navigate their 102 000 document rich database – in any language.
The Court shared some of the background information in a press release and I also find it fascinating to read this glimpse into the innovation and change management process, and why navigating justice innovation is a hugely challenging task.
The AI Native Law Firm Book
An exciting upcoming release from the original computational lawyer and members of the dream team that made GPTs take Bar Exams: Dan Katz (who taught me at Bucerius), Michael J. Bommarito II and Jillian Bommarito.
The prologue to the book is a cool use of design fiction – painting the everyday lives of four different lawyers in the not so distant future.
The chapters of the book will be released weekly and for free upon registration tady.
Shrnutí na konec
Here are some questions to reflect on based on these Fav Finds:
- What key patterns are you observing in the vibecoded tools? What does it teach us to see how lawyers envision ideal technology?
- What are the different possible futures of your business or innovative projects? What would be business-as-usual and the AI-native version of it look like?
Until next time,
Baru
