Legal Tech Encyclopedia

Legal Innovation

Legal Innovation is basically anything, that makes law somewhat more manageable, a little different, and above all, user-friendly for both lawyers and the addressees.

It includes a whole lot of topics, including legal tech, legal design, and many others that we will cover here in the Legal Tech Encyclopedia. 👀

Legal Design

Legal design is an approach towards law that centres above all else around its user and finding solutions to their problems.

Rather than obsessing about form or latin, legal design aims at making sure that the user (client) gets the means they need to attain their goal, understand everything with ease, and plus has a pretty good experience.

It uses among other things the design thinking framework, which is favoured by designers and innovators around the world.

Legal Tech is the use of technologies in legal context.

It can be specific tools made specifically for lawyers, like automated legal document systems or contract management software.

On the other hand, legal tech can also be tools from any other domain, if used in legal.

Automation

Legal Document Automation

Legal Document Automation is one of the many examples of legal tech in practice.

Automation can help you to create electronic templates.

That means that instead [***] and endless filling of word docs, you will get a form to fill in. First draft is then done by your computer.

Legal Project Management is absolutely crucial for teams of all shapes and sizes.

Effective project management means happier clients, better teams, more efficiency, and budget control.
